Professor Paul Jebb

Associate Chief Nurse for Patient Experience, Engagement and Safeguarding at Lancashire and South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust

Paul is an adult nurse with experience in patient experience, workforce wellbeing and compassionate leadership. In his current role, he leads work to position patients, families and carers as partners in care, while supporting staff wellbeing. He is also a Clinical Associate within the NHS England Getting It Right First Time Mental Health Improvement team.  

Paul has held senior leadership roles across the NHS and contributed to national policy and frameworks on nursing professionalism and experience-based care. He is an Officer of the Order of St John and a Florence Nightingale Foundation Senior Leadership Scholar.  

Paul is also Professor of Practice at the University of Cumbria, where he mentors emerging leaders and contributes to research. He serves as a judge for national nursing and healthcare awards and holds several trustee roles in the voluntary, community, faith and social enterprise sector in Lancashire, including chairing the boards of two charities.
