Dr Elizabeth Mason

Deputy Head of the School of Health Sciences at Bangor University 

Elizabeth has over 25 years’ experience teaching health and nursing-related subjects in higher education. Her teaching expertise includes healthcare law, ethics and end-of-life care, qualitative research, reflective practice and leadership. 

Elizabeth’s research interests focus on practitioners’ perspectives on professional standards, fitness to practise and professional accountability. She is Chair of the Council of Deans of Health Wales and sits on several all-Wales strategic committees and interest groups.  

Elizabeth is also a registrant visitor for the Quality Assurance Agency and has extensive experience in higher education quality assurance and curriculum development.
