Fiona Holley

Head of Education for Nursing, Midwifery and Allied Health Professionals at Ashford and St Peter’s Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust

Fiona is an experienced nursing leader and educator with over 40 years’ experience in clinical and educational roles within the NHS. She is a registered nurse and qualified teacher, with experience in professional development, clinical supervision and practice development.  

Fiona spent 20 years working in an Emergency Department, where she combined clinical practice with a clinical education role. She has since spent 20 years in education roles within acute Trusts and currently leads a team of educators supporting the development of the nursing and support worker workforce.  

Fiona is also a Professional Nurse Advocate Trust Co-Lead and champions staff wellbeing, career development, quality improvement and access to restorative clinical supervision. She received the Chief Nursing Officer for England’s Silver Award for Nursing Excellence in 2021.
