Lincoln Gombedza

Inclusion and Belonging Lead and Nurse Citizen Developer at North Staffordshire Combined Healthcare NHS Trust

Lincoln is a Registered Learning Disability Nurse, Practice Educator and leader in healthcare innovation. He is focused on embedding artificial intelligence and advancing the use of digital technologies to transform patient care and empower the nursing profession.  

Lincoln serves on the BMJ Future Health Committee and is the European Regional Hub Lead for the Nursing Now Challenge. During the Covid-19 pandemic, he led the deployment of telehealth solutions that supported more than 10,000 patients, including AI-enabled patient management and predictive analytics.  

Lincoln recently co-chaired the Chief Nursing Officer’s Professional Strategy Working Group on Digital and Technology, helping to shape the long-term vision for nursing and midwifery. He champions nursing citizen development and the role of nurses in shaping the digital transformation of healthcare.
