Lucy Coe

Director of Nursing and Midwifery for Private Care at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust

Lucy has many years’ experience as a midwife across the NHS and private sector in London, supported by a strong clinical and managerial background. She has worked across all areas of NHS maternity services, including as Lead Midwife for antenatal clinics and mental health, and as programme lead for maternity support worker development.  

Lucy has also held a senior leadership role as Matron for private care across two large acute Trusts. Her experience includes leading and developing services across fertility, medical and surgical inpatient care, adult outpatient services, paediatrics and theatres. In her current role, which she began in January 2023, she provides clinical nursing or midwifery oversight across more than 50 specialties.  

Lucy holds a Master’s degree in Advanced Clinical Practice and is committed to supporting teams to deliver high-quality, personalised and compassionate care for every patient and family.
