Annual reports and accounts

Each year, we submit an annual report and accounts to Parliament, through the Privy Council.

Our annual report sets out our objectives, describes what we have achieved during the year and explains our governance, financial resources and future plans.

Our accounts detail our income and our spending in line with requirements laid down by the Privy Council. These say that we must comply with the Statement of Recommended Practice for charities and with any other requirements.

Our annual report and accounts are subject to external audit and are also certified by the Comptroller and Auditor General.

As a registered charity, we also submit our annual report and accounts to the Charity Commission in England and Wales and to the Office of the Scottish Charity Regulator.
