Fitness to practise annual report

Read our annual fitness to practise reports

We're required to produce an annual fitness to practise (FtP) report and submit this to Parliament, through the Privy Council, alongside our annual report and accounts.

Our annual fitness to practise report sets out:

  • how we deal with concerns raised with us about nurses, midwives and nursing associates
  • the number and sorts of cases we looked at and what happened in those cases
  • the steps we are taking to improve how we carry out this work.
