Fitness to practise annual report
Read our annual fitness to practise reports
We're required to produce an annual fitness to practise report and submit this to Parliament, through the Privy Council, alongside our annual report and accounts.
Our annual fitness to practise report explains the work we do to protect the public from registered nurses and midwives whose fitness to practise is impaired. It sets out:
- how we deal with concerns raised with us about nurses and midwives
- the number and sorts of cases we looked at and what happened in those cases
- the steps we are taking to improve how we carry out this work.
