Kirsty has over 20 years’ experience in the care home sector. Since qualifying in 2002, she has progressed to home manager and has received several national awards, including the title of Queen’s Nurse and RCN Scotland Nurse of the Year in 2025.
Kirsty is a strong advocate for person-centred care, staff wellbeing and palliative care.
She is also committed to improving perceptions of care homes within communities.
