This is because it’s not within our remit as a regulator to provide this type of guidance on specific practice related issues.

However, you should make sure you have enough knowledge about safeguarding to carry out your duties in line with the Code, underpinning guidance on raising concerns and our standards.

Where to find information about safeguarding

It’s important that you deal with any immediate concerns about abuse or neglect under your local safeguarding procedures first.
