To search for a surname or Personal Identification Number (PIN), you can use your browser’s find function—hold 'Control' and 'F' keys together.

The 'Allegation Type' will read, "To be confirmed" (TBC) until five working days before the hearing start date.

Terms we use

We use the following acronyms and wording:

AgR: Agreed Removal
FTPCSH: Fitness to Practise Committee substantive hearing
FTPCSM: Fitness to Practise Committee substantive meeting
FTPCRH: Fitness to Practise Committee restoration hearing
FTPCSORH: Fitness to Practise Committee substantive order review hearing
FTPCSORM: Fitness to Practise Committee substantive order review meeting

FTPCIO: Fitness to Practise Committee interim orders hearing or meeting
ICIO: Investigating Committee interim orders hearing or meeting
ICFESH: Investigating Committee incorrect or fraudulent entry substantive hearing
ICFESM: Investigating Committee incorrect or fraudulent entry substantive meeting

Resuming: Hearings which have previously been adjourned part heard.

Adjourned: The case is considered by a panel but is not started and the charges are not read. When the case comes back it can be heard before a different panel.

Adjourned part heard: The case is considered by the panel, the charges are read and the case must come back before the same panel. When the case comes back it will be listed as ‘resuming’.

Allegation Type: This is the charge served on the nurse or midwife, but it may be subject to amendment during the course of the hearing. In the case of resuming hearings, the listed charge will be the same as that which was originally published in respect of the initial hearing. It will not reflect any changes which have arisen during the earlier hearings, whether these are due to amendments to the charges or findings made by the panel.
