Laura Godfrey-Isaacs
Laura is Chair of Shifrah UK, the UK Jewish Birth Association, an organisation that celebrates and informs on Jewish cultural birth practices, and provides information, education and training in maternity and birth contexts.
Shifrah UK provides a collective voice that advocates for the Jewish community, helps to build understanding of our heritage and culture, and combats antisemitism.
Laura also serves as the Cultural & Awareness Lead for the NHS Jewish Staff Network, and as a Council member of The Jewish Medical Association.
She produces the award-winning global community movement, Maternal Journal which supports maternal mental health through creative journaling, and serves on the Editorial Board of the Practising Midwife Magazine.
