Jasmine Boulton

Midwife

Jasmine Boulton.pngJasmine is a newly qualified midwife who completed her integrated master's degree in Midwifery at the University of Manchester, where she was awarded Student Midwife of the Year 2026. Her master's programme placed a strong emphasis on leadership, evidence-based practice and improving the quality of maternity care.

Throughout her training, Jasmine actively sought opportunities to contribute to the profession beyond clinical practice. She completed a placement with the Nursing and Midwifery Council, gaining valuable insight into professional regulation and the development of midwifery standards. She also undertook a three-week international placement in the Philippines, broadening her understanding of global maternity care and culturally sensitive practice. In addition, Jasmine has promoted the midwifery profession through a careers event, inspiring young people to consider a career in midwifery.

Jasmine has a keen interest in research, education and professional leadership. She has been awarded Fellowship of Advance HE, and her undergraduate literature review is currently being prepared for publication. She has a particular passion for supporting young parents and is committed to delivering and contributing to compassionate, inclusive and evidence-based care.

As a member of the Midwifery Strategic Advisory Group, Jasmine is looking forward to bringing the perspective of a newly qualified midwife while contributing to the ongoing development of safe, high-quality maternity services.
