Jen Taylor
Interim Executive Director of Transformation and Technology Services
Jen Taylor is the Interim Executive Director of Transformation and Technology Services, leading the NMC’s transformation and modernisation agenda. Previously Assistant Director of Operational Change, Quality and Improvement, she led the Fitness to Practise Improvement Programme and brought together operational, technical and delivery teams to deliver sustainable improvements.
With 12 years’ experience across the public sector and senior leadership roles in the Department of Health and Social Care, Cabinet Office, and Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government, Jen has led major transformation programmes and service improvements. This includes leading the strategic design and implementation of the Start for Life Programme to transform services for families.
Jen combines strategic leadership with a practical, people-centred approach, helping others navigate complexity and creating the conditions for teams to succeed and enjoy their work. She is committed to inclusive leadership, continuous improvement and ensuring transformation translates into meaningful and lasting benefits for the NMC and the people we serve.
