Helen Herniman
Executive Director of Resources and Technology Services
Helen Herniman leads the Resources and Technology Services (RTS) at the NMC. She joined the NMC as the Interim Executive in July 2021 and has now been permanently appointed to the position.
Helen is a chartered accountant with several years’ experience leading finance and corporate service teams across a wide range of organisations in different sectors. Previously, Helen spent six years in finance and operational roles at the Solicitors Regulation Authority and the Law Society in England and Wales. As chief finance officer she was instrumental in leading corporate services through cultural change and transformational processes to set up a high performing shared services team for the Law Society.
Helen is an advocate for customer service, diversity in the work place and valuing people.
