When you're ready to begin, you can start your application in NMC Online.
At the start of your application, we’ll ask you some questions about your nationality, training and the country you trained in to make sure you’re applying via the correct route.
If you’re applying via the correct route, we’ll then ask you to create an NMC Online account.
You'll use your NMC Online account to submit the rest of your application. You can also track the progress of your application in your account.
If there is no further activity (for example if you have not submitted) on your application for three months, the application will be closed and the online account removed. You will be able to sign-up again when you are ready to actively progress your application.
Provide identity evidence
Once you've created your account, you’ll need to provide your passport details and a scanned copy of your passport, so we can confirm your identity.
If your name on your NMC Online account is different to the name on your passport, you’ll need you to provide evidence of your name change, such as a marriage or divorce certificate.
Then we'll ask you some questions about your qualification to check you're eligible to apply.
