Julia Corkey

As Executive Director of Communications and Engagement, Julia leads the team responsible for the NMC’s strategic communications and engagement with internal and external audiences.

Julia is a senior leader with over 25 years’ experience in strategic communications, stakeholder engagement, public service transformation and high-profile event delivery. Before joining the NMC, she was Chief Executive of ICC Belfast and prior to that, she held the role of Executive Director of Policy, Performance and Communications at Westminster City Council, leading an award-winning team covering communications, public affairs, customer services, marketing, digital, city events, policy, strategy, research and insight.
