You'll need to log in to the new system, MYNMC, once it's launched on 10 February 2026

What’s changing

As part of the move from NMC Online to MyNMC, we’re introducing multi-factor authentication (MFA). This adds an extra layer of security when you sign in and helps protect your personal information.

What you’ll need before you start

Before logging in for the first time, please make sure you have:

  • access to the email address we hold for you, and
  • your NMC PIN (or PRN if you’re an overseas applicant).
  • You’ll also need access to either your email account or a phone, depending on how you choose to receive your security passcodes.

How first-time login works

The first time you log in to MyNMC, you’ll be guided through a short setup process. This includes:

  • confirming your email address
  • setting a new password
  • checking your personal details
  • setting up multi-factor authentication

Most people complete this in just a few minutes.

The video below shows exactly what you’ll see on screen and what you need to do at each step.

After you’ve set it up

Once you’re signed in:

  • you can use MyNMC as normal
  • your account will be protected using MFA
  • you’ll use your password and a one-time passcode each time you log in

You won’t need to repeat the setup, but you will need access to the email address or phone number you chose for MFA.

What to do if your account gets locked out?

Please wait 15 minutes for your account to unlock. If after 15 minutes you’re not able to log in, you’ll need to contact us via our Contact Centre, and they’ll be able to unlock your account.
