Supporting professionals to challenge discrimination
Published on 05 November 2020
The fifth animation in our Caring with Confidence: The Code in Action series
Our latest Caring with Confidence animation is about being inclusive and challenging discrimination.
Nursing and midwifery leaders have a responsibility to proactively create a culture of inclusivity, and to speak out on behalf of people who are being marginalised.
But there may still be times when people feel their differences aren’t respected. It can make them feel discriminated against, or isolated. Everyone has the right to dignity and respect, and to feel included.
Our animation supports the professionals on our register to feel confident about challenging discrimination wherever they see it.
Next, we’ll talk about professional use of social media. Check back on 16 November.
