We want to make sure that the people we regulate can focus on their work during the pandemic.

At the beginning of the pandemic, we initially reduced our contact with healthcare professionals.

Since July 2020, we have gradually increased our contact and it’s now generally back to normal. However, we know we need to keep the status of the pandemic under review.

Engaging with us

We continue to courage you to send us your views on the case, including any learnings or reflections you may have. This might also help us to decide not to take further action on your case.

We do recognise that this may be harder during the pandemic, so you can ask us for more time to respond to the concerns raised.

Unless we think we need to take immediate action to manage risk, we'll hold off deciding on your case until we have your response.
