If your revalidation is due in January 2026
If you submit your revalidation by the 1 January deadline, you don’t need to do anything else.
Your revalidation will be processed as usual and will not be affected by the downtime.
You have until 31 January to pay you're fee as usual. Direct Debits will not be affected by the switchover and will be collected as usual.
If your revalidation is submitted late
If your revalidation is submitted after 1 January, or if you need to log in to complete any outstanding steps, you have until 31 January to complete and you will not be affected by the switchover. This is unless you have been granted an extension.
If you have had a revalidation extension approved, this will remain in place and will not be affected. Please follow the instructions sent to you when your extension was granted. However, please bear in mind you will not be able to access partially completed revalidation applicantion forms once the new system is launched.
If your revalidation is due in February, March or April 2026
If your revalidation is due on 1 February, 1 March or 1 April, your revalidation window may already be open or opening soon.
You should be aware that:
- NMC Online will be unavailable between 6 and 10 February during the upgrade
- Any partially completed revalidation application forms cannot be transferred to MyNMC
- Any unsubmitted forms will be lost and will need to be completed again in the new system
If you plan to start your revalidation before the downtime, we recommend that you complete and submit any forms you start by 5 February 2026.
If you wait until after MyNMC launches on 10 February, you will be able to complete your revalidation in the new platform, MyNMC.
If you’re revalidating later in 2026
If your revalidation is due later in the year, you don’t need to take any action now.
Once MyNMC is live, you’ll be able to revalidate in the new platform in the same way as did before, with a refreshed layout and improved security.
