AEI portal downtime

The planned upgrade to MyNMC will require a period of downtime from 5pm on Friday 6 February until 12:00 (midday) on Tuesday 10 February 2026.

During this time:

  • the AEI portal will be unavailable
  • uploads cannot be made
  • users will not be able to log in
  • please ensure any uploads or tasks are completed before the downtime begins

What happens after 10 February

From 10 February 2026, once MyNMC is live:

  • AEI portal users will be able to log in and upload records again
  • core processes will remain very similar to the current portal
  • the main change is a new, more secure login process, using multi-factor authentication (MFA)
  • users will be guided through setting up MFA the first time they log in.

QA Link portal

As part of the MyNMC upgrade, we will also take down the QA Link portal, which institutions use to quality assure their programmes.

The QA Link portal will be unavailable from 18:00 on Friday 6 February until 18:00 Monday 9 February 2026.

During this time, users will not be able to access the portal. The service will be restored once the upgrade activity is complete.
