How to interpret these results
- If your score is green, it meets our requirements (we call this a ‘required score’)
- If your score is yellow (we call this a ‘minimum score’), it does not meet our requirements but it could be used for test combining or with SIFE (supporting information from employers) if you meet our SIFE criteria
- If your score is red, it does not meet our requirements and cannot be used as English language evidence
Step 1: Check your results below to see if you have any red scores. If you do, you cannot use any of your scores from that test and you will need to take another test.
Step 2: If you have no red scores, check if you have at least one green score in each language skill. If you do, and all your other scores are yellow, congratulations! You should be able to combine your tests and use this as your English language evidence. You can continue with your NMC Online application.
Step 3: If you are missing a green score in one language skill only (meaning that you have two yellow scores in one skill), you may be able to use supporting information from your employer (SIFE) if you meet the requirements. Check our website to see if you are eligible to use SIFE.
Step 4: If you are missing a green score in more than one language skill, you will need to take another test.
