NMC responds to the appointment of Dr Anne Wright CBE as Chair of the General Optical Council

Karen Cox, the Deputy Chair of the NMC, congratulates Dr Anne Wright CBE on her appointment as the Chair of the GOC.
Responding to the appointment of Dr Anne Wright CBE as Chair of the General Optical Council (GOC), Karen Cox, Deputy Chair (Acting Chair) of the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) said:
"I want to congratulate Anne on her appointment as Chair of the General Optical Council."
"During almost eight years on the NMC’s Council Anne made an enormous contribution the organisation and I thoroughly enjoyed working with her. I know she will do a fantastic job as Chair of the GOC."
