Over the next 12 months we will be working with as many people as possible to get their input into our plan for the next five years.

Just as there is no single part of the health and social care system that operates in isolation, we'll develop our five-year plan in an inclusive way so that it meets the needs of professionals, aligns with the work of our partners, meets the expectations that the public has, and helps us do the best job that we possibly can.  A co-production.

In April 2020 we will launch our five-year plan outlining an ambitious vision for the NMC, with areas of focus and a clear plan of how to get there.

Find out how you can get involved

Whether you work in a hospital, care for people in the community,  or you're a patient, or recently experienced health and social care services, we need to hear from you.

For the next few months, until June, have your say on the issues affecting nursing, midwifery and health and social care today and beyond. Tell us what you think will have the greatest impact on the NMC over the next five years, and what you think we should focus on.

You can send us your thoughts and help develop the key themes of our plan by filling out this simple form. It won't take long. Or get in touch with us on twitter using #futureNMC

This isn’t the only time you'll be able to get involved. Look out for further updates on how you can get involved.
