Latest newsletter for midwives, nurses and nursing associates

Published on 25 June 2021

We’ve published our latest quarterly newsletters for midwives, nurses and nursing associates.

Both of our newsletters include lead articles about our post-registration consultation. It’s a chance for health and care professionals to have their say on our new draft education standards. The consultation is about post-registration education standards for specialist community public health nursing (SCPHN) and specialist practice qualifications (SPQ). This will help us to make sure our standards reflect the realities of modern care.

What else can I expect if I read the nursing newsletter?

Readers will find articles about our most recent annual registration data report, how we’re improving the way we handle concerns, and the nursing professionals being recognised on this year’s Queen’s Honour’s list. We also give a warm welcome to our new Council Chair, Sir David Warren. There are guest articles from Tracie Miles on the rapid progress in genomics research, and from the British Indian Nursing Association (BINA) who are providing a voice for nurses of Indian origin in the UK.
