We value the diversity of the people on our register, our employees and the people and communities we and our professionals serve.
We have a responsibility as a regulator and as an employer to do everything in our power to tackle discrimination and inequality and to promote diversity and inclusion. We’re taking action, but we have much more to do. We recognise our individual and collective responsibilities to address these issues.
We have developed our EDI plan which sets out the steps we’re taking to include EDI in all aspects of our work.
Using the approach set out in the plan, we’re developing an approach to business planning, operations, project planning and delivery that actively builds in EDI from the outset. This will support our overall direction, which is set by our Council and five-year strategy.
We are developing detailed actions using this framework in our business planning and working with our Governance structures. We will publish these actions and timelines for delivery in Spring 2022.
