How to join the register if you have previously agreed to voluntary removal

If you want to return to the register after being accepted for voluntary removal, you will need to provide a written submission and documentary evidence to us. These will need to show that you have addressed the concerns that were originally highlighted in the fitness to practise referral that led to the voluntary removal application. Your application may also be supported by character or health references.

Once you have submitted all the information you wish to be considered, your application will be reviewed by the Registrar. You can find details of how we will consider such information in further guidance on readmission and fitness to practise allegations.

If you have previously been granted voluntary removal, you will still need to meet the registration standards in order to readmit to the register. See our standards section for more information.
