The mandatory maximum time limits for completion of education programmes has been removed

The Council has today agreed to remove the mandatory maximum time limits for completion of education programmes.

Post-registration programmes are also affected by today’s changes which come into immediate effect.

The removal of time limits enables greater flexibility for students ensuring that no individual is disadvantaged if unforeseen events interrupt their studies. Responsibility for the management of education programmes lies with approved education institutions who are best placed to oversee students’ involvement in their programmes.
