60 percent of nurses and midwives are ahead of the revalidation deadline
With two weeks to go, more than 60 percent of nurses and midwives who are due to revalidate in April have either started or completed their applications.
"It’s encouraging to see that so many nurses and midwives from the first group to revalidate have already completed their applications," said NMC Chief Executive and Registrar Jackie Smith.
Also, nearly a quarter of nurses and midwives due to revalidate in May have already begun their applications.
The NMC is reminding everyone to not leave their revalidation to the final deadline date. One nurse who has gone through the process said:
"Gather all the information required, talk to other colleagues and do not leave it to the last minute."
