The Edinburgh office serves as a venue for hearings as well as the base of operations for one of our Case Investigation teams. Nurses and midwives can access our website and contact the Registrations team by using the facilities available on-site.

Access

The main entrance is at 114 George Street by way of a few steps and a door entry system. There is also a ramped entrance at 116 George Street which facilitates access to the lifts and is manned from 07:00 to 19:00.

By bus

The majority of Lothian buses pass along Princes Street, which runs parallel to George Street. Check fare information before you travel as bus drivers do not give change.

By train

Edinburgh has two train stations in the city centre, Haymarket and Waverley. Both stations are only a 15-minute walk from our office or five minutes in a taxi. There are taxi ranks at each station.

By tram

Trams run between the airport and the city centre all day. There is more information on the Edinburgh trams website.

By plane

Edinburgh City Centre is a 25-minute journey from Edinburgh International airport. A frequent bus service (number 100) leaves every ten minutes from Shandwick Place and Waverley Bridge.

Taxis cost £20-£25 between the airport and the city centre.

By car

There is parking on George Street, however it is very expensive. There are Park and Ride facilities on the outskirts of the city centre. A disabled parking bay is available directly outside the office.
