Is it for the NMC?
How to make a referral to us
If you have concerns about a registered nurse or midwife and believe they may not be fit to practise, you can submit a referral to us.
Please follow the steps and check you have read our information before submitting a referral.
We can only investigate complaints about nurses or midwives.
If you have a complaint about another healthcare professional (eg. a doctor or healthcare support worker) or an establishment such as a hospital or care home, there are other healthcare regulators who can investigate.
