Janice SigsworthJanice joined Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust from the Department of Health where she was Deputy Chief Nurse (England). Her priorities at the Trust have been to prepare the nurses and midwives to lead the delivery of compassionate high quality care.

Janice has been delivering continuous improvement to clinical and experience outcomes for over three decades. She has worked to integrate education and research into practice with the belief that this integration brings a vibrant learning environment and improves outcomes.

Janice is a special Trustee of the General Nursing Council for England and Wales Trust and a member of the National Health Education Nursing and Midwifery Advisory Board.  She has been appointed as Chair of the Shelford Chief Nurses, and is supporting the NMC as clinical strategic advisor for its review of nursing and midwifery pre-registration standards. Janice has a BSc in Nursing and an MSc in health service management.
