Our annual equality and diversity reports
We publish an annual report on equality and diversity. This explains how we are addressing the requirements of the public sector equality duty and what we intend to do about identified gaps.
To inform our areas of improvement we will gather equality monitoring data about our Council members, fitness to practise panel members, the nurses and midwives on our register and our employees.
We also commissioned research at the University of Greenwich into the experiences of Black and Minority Ethnic (BME) nurses and midwives in the NMC's Fitness to Practise process:
