Attend a Council meeting
How you can book a place
The Council meets in public six times a year, usually at our offices in London, but also in other parts of the UK.
Any member of the public, including nurses and midwives, is welcome to observe a Council meeting. Space is limited so please request a place in advance.
There will be a question and answer session during the meeting. This is the only time observers are able to ask questions or make comments during the meeting.
To attend a Council meeting, find the meeting you wish to attend and book a place via the Eventbrite link.
If a meeting is oversubscribed, we admit people on a first come, first served basis.
If you are not able to attend the Council meeting in person you can follow our live tweets. Follow us @nmcnews and use the hashtag #nmccouncil.
Please note that observers attending the session will be able to ask questions, however we do not take queries from Twitter to ask during the Council meeting.
